Brownsburg High School Wrestlers Take First Place At Evansville Semi State

Brownsburg finished the Semi State Tournament with a team first place and five individual champions. Revin Dickman, Jake Hockaday, Brady Ison, Gunner Henry and Caden Brewer. Nine Brownsburg wrestlers in total will be advancing to the State Finals in Evansville next weekend: Dickman, Reynolds, Hockaday, Ison, Reynolds, Day, Dieringer, Henry and Brewer.

Top 10 team results: Brownsburg 207, Center Grove 194.5, Floyd Central 88, Avon 82, Mater Dei 73.5, Tell City 52, Monrovia 49, Terre Haute South 46, Columbus North 43.5, Heritage Hills 39

Brownsburg Open Color Guard Takes First Place At the IHSCGA Brownsburg Invitational

Brownsburg Open Guard, Regional A Guard and Cadet Guard competed at the IHSCGA Brownsburg Invitational yesterday. Over fifty nine Indiana high schools and countless middle schools were represented from all over the state.

Up first was the Brownsburg Cadet Color Guard which includes members from Brownsburg’s East & West Middle Schools. They put on an outstanding performance with their show “Birds of a Feather” receiving a silver rating in the awards.

Next up was the Brownsburg Regional A Color Guard. Their unique show “Under My Umbrella” and relatively flawless performance earned them a second place finish in the standings.

Finally, to round out the day of amazing performances was the highlight of the competition with the Brownsburg Open Guard winning their division and taking home the first place award with their spectacularly flawless show “Epica”.

Congratulations to all of Brownsburg Color Guards for a very successful weekend and a job well done!
