Willow Center Distributes 1,620 Mental Wellness Toolkits to Brownsburg Schools
The Willow Center, in collaboration with the Town of Brownsburg, recently delivered 1,620 mental wellness toolkits to Brownsburg Community School Corporation (BCSC) students and staff. This effort is part of a larger initiative to support mental health and resilience among young people in the community.
Each toolkit contains practical resources such as mindfulness cards, stress-relief tools, journals, and informational materials designed to help students and educators manage stress and strengthen emotional well-being. The kits will be available in classrooms and can also be taken home, ensuring that students have access to support wherever they need it most.
This project was made possible through funding from the town’s opioid settlement grant, which is being strategically invested in early intervention programs to build a healthier, more resilient community. By prioritizing mental health resources at the start of the school year, Brownsburg is taking proactive steps to reduce stress and encourage open conversations around wellness.
The distribution marks a significant commitment by local organizations to foster a supportive environment for both students and educators. As the new school year begins, these toolkits will serve as a reminder that mental health matters — and that the community is working together to provide care and resources for those who need them most.
